dissconnected

artist statement:

The main focus of this piece is to visually display the conflict of both stress and life expectations. I feel separated from my mind and body.  The reflection of my self-portrait creates a feeling of disconnection between myself and my thoughts: which is me?  Which is just an idea? The library in the background is to resemble my thought process, and how it is always consistently omnipresent during these situations.
