artist statement:

This piece is about vulnerability. Letting your walls down around the people you care about. And letting people see you as who you truly are, with all your imperfections. I was inspired by the photographer Chris Parente. His photographs make me think about vulnerability. I hope the viewer can see the effort it takes to let others see your true self. I hope they feel a little uncomfortable seeing my photo.
