These works were created in Fall 2018, during my course Foundations of Visual Arts. The pieces combine famous works of art, with an image of a celebrity worked into it. This triptych was to touch upon two subjects:

  1. A life lived a constant spotlight comes with its own personalized struggles.

  2. A life lived a constant spotlight is not always what it seems.

Each distinguished figure was chosen specifically for these reason; they either fit within one or both categories. With that, each notable painting was chosen for its significance towards the celebrity and how the work fit with major themes in the celebrities life.

The piece was later featured in Merrimack College’s Fall 2019 Juried Student Exhibition, from October 10th to November 3rd. The pieces were printed, matted, and framed.
