autumn's angel

artist statement:

This piece is to symbolize the metamorphosis of self; using not only the fall season as my setting, but with the shaded face, it represents the change I see in the world and as well as my self-growth.

In the picture, you can see my beautiful Saturn earrings that matched my lovely fall outfit. It’s just a simple little moment I wanted to catch. Most of my face is hidden in the shadow my hat created; I sort of enjoy this because I am not confident in my looks so getting to hide yet still have a cute photo of myself was nice. Secondly, I do not look like that anymore! Since then I have cut my hair even shorter, got a septum and cartilage piercing, and a tattoo! We are constantly changing and I think that can be beautiful.
